| For the first year ever, the Big "I" national Young Agents Committee (YAC) will recognize a young agent who provides exemplary service to his or her association, community and the industry.
The nomination process will be added to the Outstanding Young Agent Committee award series, which recognizes state YACs that excel in communications, political involvement, young agents meetings, committee projects, InVEST® and membership development.
The national YAC is also soliciting nominations for the Outstanding Young Agent Liaison of year, an award that recognizes a state liaison who has provided outstanding support and leadership to their state Young Agents program.
“The national Young Agents Committee is really excited for this new award,” says Quincy Branch, president and CEO of Branch Benefits Consultants in Las Vegas and chair of the Big “I” national YAC. “We feel it’s important to recognize the achievements of outstanding young agents who are making strides in their agency, influencing the future and committed to a career in the insurance industry.”
The submission deadline for all Outstanding Young Agent awards is July 15, 2014. Make sure your state is recognized at the annual awards reception, to take place during the Big “I” Young Agents Leadership Institute, Sept. 12-13 in Grand Rapids, Mich.
