| The national media is shining the spotlight on independent agents. A nationally syndicated television news story featured Big “I” President & CEO Bob Rusbuldt in coverage of the growing use of telematics, or usage-based insurance, among auto insurance consumers and companies. In the piece, Rusbuldt explains what telematics technology means for drivers who choose to use it in determining their car insurance premiums.
More than 70 local stations around the country, including WINK-TV in Fort Myers, Florida, received the story, which will continue airing on local newscasts throughout the month.
Trusted Choice® received similar high-profile media exposure last week in a live Twitter chat following a national “Today Show” segment on life insurance. Personal finance correspondent Sharon Epperson recommended TrustedChoice.com and the Trusted Choice Twitter as good resources for consumers looking for independent agents or information on life insurance options. The national NBC morning show heavily promoted the live chat, and Trusted Choice received many consumer inquiries during and after the event.
