Are you a young agent who wants to get involved in the legislative process? Do you want to make a difference in the industry, and for your clients? Attending the Big “I” Legislative Conference should top your list—and the national Young Agents Committee can help.
First-time young agent attendees to the conference have two scholarship opportunities, and each state association can present two $500 scholarship nominations. To apply for these awards, submit your application to your state association’s young agent liaison. You are also encouraged to apply for the $1,000 Maurice Herndon Scholarship, which requires a short essay submitted to the Big “” national.
The deadline for the Maurice Herndon award is Feb. 28, and the deadline for the state scholarships is March 14.
