The Best Practices Awards of Excellence recognize insurance companies for their exceptional efforts in promoting and marketing Best Practices tools, seminars and philosophies throughout the year.
During this morning’s Big “I” Legislative Conference General Session Breakfast, Bob Rusbuldt, Big “I” president & CEO, presented Best Practices Awards of Excellence to the following honorees:
Applied Systems, which launched a formal campaign to encourage participation in the Best Practices program and supports clients to consistently evaluate their company's performance as well as growth and perpetuation strategies. The company also hosted a Best Practices education symposium for its executives and is an active sponsor and supporter of the program.
Central Insurance Company, an active supporter of Best Practices that has nominated more than 15% of its agencies for the Best Practices study with a personal letter encouraging them to participate. Central Insurance also shared Best Practices information and benchmarks with marketing managers and presented the information to its National Agents Advisory Council.
EMC Insurance Companies, which produced articles, seminars and webinars based on the foundations of Best Practices, including talking points and the value of participating in the study. The company also takes a strong consultative approach, using Best Practices tools as the basis for agency management processes and key areas of joint planning and perpetuation.
Preferred Mutual Insurance Companies, which is working to help agents through activity in two phases: training and education, and incorporation of planning to marketing representatives and agents. The company also includes Best Practices information in its agent welcome kit.
Travelers, which supports agents and the Best Practices program and regularly features and promotes the program’s tools in its agency publications. This is the 15th year that Travelers has received this award.
Westfield Insurance, which presented Best Practices sessions, guest speakers from Reagan Consulting, webinars and education field staff. The company also hosted a webinar to train Westfield field and underwriting teams on how implement Best Practices within an agency and support the process.
