TC_MAW_FB_Cover.jpgALEXANDRIA, Virginia, Aug. 1, 2017–Trusted Choice®, the consumer branding program for independent insurance agents and brokers, is proud to announce its seventh annual summer social media campaign to raise money for Make-A-Wish®. During the month of August, Trusted Choice® will donate $10 to the wish granting organization for each post “shared” from the Trusted Choice® Facebook page (www.facebook.com/TrustedChoice).

“Trusted Choice® is proud to continue using Facebook in such a wonderful effort to raise money and awareness for Make-A-Wish,” says Kevin Brandt, Trusted Choice® executive director. “Trusted Choice® is honored to have sponsored wishes for 54 children with life-threatening medical conditions since our first social media campaign in 2011. Additionally, Trusted Choice® is providing 55 grants this year, totaling $412,000 for Make-A-Wish chapters through a local sponsorship initiative before year’s end.”

This annual project is an important opportunity for our entire membership to join forces for a very worthy, national cause. About Make-A-Wish
Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. According to a 2011 U.S. study of wish impact, most health professionals surveyed believe a wish-come-true has positive impacts on the health of children. Kids say wishes give them renewed strength to fight their illness, and their parents say these experiences help strengthen the entire family. Headquartered in Phoenix, Make-A-Wish is one of the world's leading children's charities, serving children in every community in the United States and its territories. With the help of generous donors and more than 33,000 volunteers, Make-A-Wish grants a wish somewhere in the country every 34 minutes. It has granted more than 285,000 wishes since its inception in 1980; more than 15,300 in 2016 alone. Visit Make-A-Wish at www.wish.org to learn more.
