| Every day, independent agencies like yours make significant contributions to their communities through their time, actions, talents and dedication. To honor, celebrate and encourage these community contributions, Trusted Choice® will recognize the agency most committed to impacting their community at the 2018 Big “I" Legislative Conference, to take place April 18-20 in Washington, D.C. Named in memory of Dan Fulwider, avid philanthropist and former government affairs coordinator and membership liaison for the Independent Insurance Agents of Iowa, the Dan Fulwider Award for Community Service recognizes the Big “I" member who has gone above and beyond the call of service in their community over the past year. The awardee will receive: - $2,500 to be donated to the charity of their choice.
- Paid transportation to the 2018 Big “I" Legislative Conference, including one guest.
- One-night accommodation at the Grand Hyatt Washington hotel on Thursday, April 19.
- Paid meals during travel.
Trusted Choice will also recognize five honorable mention nominees, each of whom will receive a $1,000 donation toward the charity of their choice.
