Big “I" Best Practices, created in 1993 in partnership with Reagan Consulting, celebrates its 25-year anniversary in 2018. The program continues to provide tools and resources with the purpose of helping agents increase their agency value and better serve their clients, community and company partners.
If you're new to Best Practices, the heart of the program is the annual release of the Best Practices Study, which provides the most up-to-date benchmarking figures along with data to create and update yearly comparisons for accurate tracking of agency performance. Information is divided into six different revenue categories, and cross-category comparisons provide benchmarks on agency specialization, staffing information, revenue growth, sales velocity, expenses, profitability and much more.
The research provides unique insights into what the best agencies are doing to succeed through the changing marketplace, trends and economic environment—and it can help answer questions agency principals consider as they develop their own agency growth efforts.
