| Donate to the InVEST® silent auction to contribute to the organization’s scholarship program.
Each year, InVEST® and the Big “I” national Young Agents Committee (YAC) hosts the YAC Gives Back event in conjunction with the Big “I” Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C. Proceeds from this jam-packed casino-themed fundraiser go towards the InVEST scholarship fund.
In 2013, the organization was able to award 65 academic scholarships with proceeds from YAC Gives Back. This year, you can help by donating an item or two. Here’s what makes the big bucks:
- Jewelry, especially Tiffany & Co. It sparkles, it’s fabulous and it travels well.
- Gadgets like an iPad, Surface or Kindle. If it fits in your hand and connects to WiFi, attendees will love it.
- Designer handbags and accessories. It’s easier to splurge when you’re supporting such a worthy cause.
- Experiences, such as sports tickets and event packages.
InVEST educates students on the foundations of insurance and financial services and provides an introduction to careers in the industry. With many industries jockeying for top talent, the InVEST mission is vital to the perpetuation of the industry. Donate today and help make a difference. |
