Will you join the GIVE Movement? Throughout the year, Big “I" members give back to the community through fundraisers, service events and more. When we tally the results of our efforts as an industry, it speaks volumes.
Last year, the national Young Agents Committee (YAC) launched the GIVE Movement. During the first week of June, 72 organizations and 1,683 volunteers from 26 states made a huge difference in the community, volunteering 6,728 hours, collecting 155,920 items and donating more than $640,000.
The purpose of the GIVE Movement is to highlight hometown acts of service on a national platform. While we still plan to host GIVE Week this year, the YAC was so moved by the involvement and impact of last year's event that we're going to share community service stories all year, too.
Agents, companies and vendors can share their community services projects by using the hashtag #TCagentsGIVE, tagging the Big “I" on Facebook and completing this form to let us know what you're planning or what you've done.
During this year's GIVE week, to take place June 1-8, we ask everyone in the industry to get out in the community and give back. This week is about ordinary people doing extraordinary things, and we want you to be part of it.
