Women in Insurance Global Conference Returns to New York

The Big “I" Diversity Council is pleased to partner with the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) for the fourth Women in Insurance Global Conference, to take place June 12-14 at the Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel in New York.

An international audience of 750 women and men are expected to attend this year's conference, which will empower them to implement practical ideas and solutions in their professional lives. Attendees will also have the opportunity to provide their own insights on issues impacting the workplace, including gender equity in a changing world—this year's conference theme.

Since its inception in 2013, the IICF Women in Insurance Global Conference has drawn more than 6,000 attendees. As industry professionals continue to tackle issues related to workforce diversity, conferences that explore leadership strategies and the impact of innovation on the workplace are increasingly important.

A recent article in the Harvard Business Review, “Do Women's Networking Events Move the Needle on Equality?", examines the importance of attending these conferences.

This year's program has attracted renowned speakers from around the globe, including:

  • Pina Albo, CEO, Hamilton Group
  • Wade Davis, Former NFL player and corporate inclusion advisor and educator
  • Julian Enoizi, CEO, Pool Reinsurance
  • Lori Goltermann, CEO, Aon U.S.
  • Baroness Margaret McDonagh, founder of The Pipeline and member of the House of Lords
  • Susan Rivera, CEO, Tokio Marine HCC
  • Kate White, New York Times bestselling author and former media executive

Don't miss your opportunity to hear from industry experts around the globe while engaging in panel discussions, interactive workshops and stellar networking opportunities. The early-bird conference rate is in available until Wednesday, April 17. Big “I" members also qualify for a special member discount.

The IICF Women in Insurance Global Conference is still the only event of its kind where 100% of the proceeds benefit a nonprofit cause. Your support benefits the IICF Early Literacy Initiative, which helps provide literacy resources to children in underserved communities.
