Big ‘I’ Presents Best Practices Awards of Excellence

The Best Practices Awards of Excellence recognize insurance companies for their exceptional efforts in promoting and marketing Best Practices tools, seminars and philosophies throughout the year.

During last week's 2019 Big “I" Legislative Conference General Session Breakfast, Bob Rusbuldt, Big “I" president & CEO, presented Best Practices Awards of Excellence to the following honorees:

Amerisure, for actively promoting Best Practices resources and training on agency visits. The company delivers Best Practices through three teams: customer engagement, agency services group and marketing. Amerisure is a first-time recipient of this award but a longtime supporter of the Big “I" and Best Practices.

Applied Systems, for providing the ability to configure reporting features to enable agencies to routinely pull Best Practices data and reports, in order to ensure consistent financial performance reviews throughout the year. The company focuses on Best Practices education and training with internal stakeholders and external clients, including during agent conferences.

Central Insurance, for sharing the results of the annual Best Practices report with marketing managers, reinforcing the importance of education, new producer investment and perpetuation. The company regularly distributes Best Practices information through Centralizer, articles and direct agent contact. This marks Central's 13th year as an honoree.

Chubb, for investing heavily in its agents and brokers to support mutual growth and viewing Best Practices as a critical part of this strength. Chubb Agency Education works with Big “I" state association offices on topics, materials and facilitators for webinars.

EMC, for encouraging field representatives to engage in meaningful conversations about the key challenges facing agencies and how to work through any issues related to slow growth or disruption challenges. EMC increased communications and promotions of the 2018 Best Practices webinar series to help educate agents on the benefits of using Best Practices.

Nationwide, for using Best Practices as an additional tool for sales managers to hold valuable discussions with agents by including the concepts and key metrics in producer and agency training programs. The company presented Best Practices data to its 2018 field sales leadership team and encouraged using Best Practices in team meetings and internal field communications.

Westfield, for taking an active role in educating agents and embedding Best Practices metrics, which is fundamental to managing the agency force of the future. The company supports local Big “I" events in active states and partners to raise awareness of Best Practices.
