You don't have to be a tech expert to attend the next Agents Council for Technology Meeting—it's your input on workflow improvements that are crucial to the conversation.
The ACT Meeting will take place on April 22 in Orlando, Florida, immediately after the HawkSoft User Group (HUG) 2020 National Conference at the Rosen Centre Hotel.
ACT is closely monitoring updates from public health authorities regarding the coronavirus situation. The health and safety of attendees and ACT members and staff is of paramount importance. At present, ACT is moving forward with this meeting but will send additional communication to inform everyone about any changes to the status of the meeting if that becomes necessary.
Online registration for the ACT Meeting is open until April 10. Attendance is free for all Big "I" members, as well as supporting ACT carrier, vendor, user group and association members. Registration also details hotel and travel information.
We'll have a variety of in-depth discussions on workflow-related topics on the meeting agenda. Just a few examples include:
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning. The level of AI impacts to insurance is staggering—agency website chatbots, autonomous vehicles and farm or ranch equipment, intelligent advisors and more. This session will discuss how these can help agents and companies meet their customers' expectations.
- Cybersecurity. With more states enacting laws surrounding cybersecurity, we'll talk about some of the misconceptions, the decision-making process for creating a solid strategy and how to start (or supplement) a cyber hygiene program.
- Successful failure. In a risk-averse industry, how do we drive forward in our insurance companies and agencies? Industry leader Steve Anderson will delve into the thought processes and takeaways that will move the needle forward for us all.
