Gamma Iota Sigma, the international risk management, insurance and actuarial science collegiate fraternity, recently elected Diane Mattis, executive director of InVEST®, to its board of trustees and executive committee.
Mattis joins four other insurance industry professionals in this accomplishment, including Sabrina Hanitz, senior business development manager at AIG; Erik Matson, partner in the global financial services practice at Boydon; Bill Ross, CEO of The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation; and Denise Watkins, senior vice president at Endurance Specialty Insurance Ltd.

Incorporated in 1965, Gamma Iota Sigma promotes, encourages and sustains student interest in the insurance industry to its current membership of more than 2,500 students at 60 colleges and universities nationwide.
