Independent Agent magazine and Trusted Choice® each won two awards from the Insurance Marketing & Communication Association (IMCA), presented at the IMCA Showcase Gala Awards Banquet in Orlando, Florida.
Independent Agent's coverage of 2022 Women's History Month won an award of excellence in in-house multimedia communication. The magazine's coverage included articles and podcasts spotlighting women leaders in insurance as they discuss the excellent career opportunities for women in insurance, news on progress made and improvements needed to include women in the industry, and social media coverage of Women's History Month.
The September 2021 issue of Independent Agent celebrating the 125th anniversary of the Big “I" also received an award of excellence in the magazine and special publication category.
Trusted Choice's “Home Field Advantage" ad campaign received the best of show award in the broadcast media campaign category. Trusted Choice partnered with the MLB and former pitcher John Smoltz on the MLB Network through the playoffs and World Series, illustrating the importance of independent insurance agents and reaching over 5 million consumers via TV, streaming and digital channels.
Trusted Choice also received the award of excellence for the most out of the box idea with the “Choose Local" campaign. Launching for Small Business Saturday in November 2021, the “Choose Local" campaign highlights local businesses and encourages shoppers to buy from their neighbors—including when insurance shopping.
