This Friday, look out for an email from fTLD Registry Services (fTLD) containing a brief survey about your opinions on the use of a .insurance top-level domain—the last part of a domain name such as .com or .net.
fTLD, which filed an application to operate .insurance, will only offer the domain name to those legitimately serving the insurance industry. This will enable agents and brokers to secure their own domain name in the .insurance space (for example: www.smithagency.insurance).
fTLD is offering $50 to each of the first 50 people to respond to the survey by Thursday, Jan. 29. Please consider completing the survey—the sooner you do, the more likely you’ll be one of the lucky 50 to receive the $50 incentive. If you don’t receive the survey in your inbox and would like to take it, please contact Fred Gaudios from Zeldis Research for a link.
If you have questions about fTLD, please contact Craig Schwartz or visit fTLD online.
