| February is Insurance Careers Month and Invest offers scholarships to high school and college students currently participating in the InvestSM program to pursue insurance-related education and careers. If you know any students who may be interested, be sure to spread the word. The Classroom to Career scholarship helps with licensing, entry-level courses, or designations for students wishing to move directly into an insurance career. This scholarship is open year-round, and there is no deadline. Students can apply now. The College-Bound scholarship is for high school seniors participating in or having completed the Invest program, to use toward a two- or four-year college degree with an emphasis on insurance, risk management, actuarial science or business with the intent of pursuing an insurance-related career after graduation. The deadline is April 3. This year, one $10,000 scholarship is available for one exemplary applicant. Four $5,000 scholarships are also available. Students can apply now.
