CNBC Story Caps Recent TV Coverage of Big ‘I’ Pothole Research

This week, CNBC’s popular morning program “Squawk Box” highlighted Big “I” research about the costs and perils of potholes and featured Big “I” Executive Committee member Spencer Houldin.

Reporter Morgan Brennan interviewed Houldin, president of Ericson Insurance Advisors, about key findings of the research, including the $27 billion consumers and insurers have spent over the past five years due to potholes and that 50% of drivers say they have experienced damage to their vehicles from potholes.

The national CNBC segment follows a large spate of local television news coverage on the Big “I” pothole survey. More than 50 newscasts in approximately 30 cities have covered the new pothole cost statistics in the last month, including shows in major markets like Seattle, Washington, D.C. and Oklahoma City. The Big “I” report is currently in the spotlight thanks to a harsh winter that left roads in many states in disrepair.

For more information about any of these TV news stories or others featuring the Big “I” and its spokespeople, contact Sue Nester, broadcast media director.
