The Big “I” Virtual University (VU) experts offer live instructional webinars throughout the year to keep agents informed on the latest in insurance education, industry updates and technical training.
Upcoming webinars focus on understanding CGL property damage exclusions, cyber liability issues and emerging issues in personal lines.
ISO CGL Property Damage Exclusion
On Wednesday, May 6, three insurance experts will provide information about an element of coverage critical to building service providers, contractors, insurance agents, claims adjusters and subrogation units. Participants will walk away equipped to better serve insurance purchasers—particularly in the service and construction industries—and assist them in minimizing exposure to uninsured losses.
Cyber Liability and Data Breach
Explore first- and third- party exposures to cyber exposures, including data breach, during this webinar on Wednesday, July 15. The session will review lack of coverage in current CGL and property policies, as well as emerging markets for cyber liability. As the number of cyber incidents—including online fraud, identity theft and data breach—continues to rise from hackers and professional computer experts mostly located outside of the U.S., this is a webinar relevant to all staff.
Beyond the Basics: Emerging Issues in Personal Lines
This August 26 webinar will examine a number of critical policy form changes that agents must know and communicate to the consuming public. The first hour will focus on changes to ISO’s new Personal Auto Program and homeowners program. In the second hour, experts will discuss emerging issues and misunderstood exposures, including hydraulic fracking and car and home sharing, as well as coverage gaps in ISO’s homeowners program involving various vehicles. The third hour will focus on two major auto exposures—family member vehicles and rental cars—and cover insuring vacation risks such as motor homes, cruise ships and overseas travel.
All webinars take place from 1-4 p.m. ET and are available in recorded format after broadcast. Consider offering the webinars conference-style in your agency for maximum education value.
