Is your agency operating at its highest potential? Is your business capable of competing successfully in the marketplace? Do you want to be recognized as the type of firm where top employees want to work, carriers want to be represented and customers want to do business?
For over 30 years, the Big “I" Best Practices Agency has been analyzing business benchmarks from the top U.S. independent insurance agencies of all sizes. The Big “I" is currently accepting nominations for the 2025 Best Practices Study.
Your agency can be part of this elite group that is recognized by carriers and industry leaders as the best in the business and identified as a Best Practices agency. The nominations process is only open every three years.
Big “I" state associations and company partners can nominate your agency for the 2025 study cycle. Or, you can indicate your interest by submitting this form by the end of January 2025.
To be considered, you must be nominated and will be asked to submit operating data from your previous fiscal year directly to Reagan Consulting, the Big “I" Best Practices program partner. From there, all submitting agencies will have their information scored objectively within a rating system. The top agencies will be given “Best Practices agency" status within the six different revenue categories.
There are numerous benefits to participating in this process, including the opportunity to learn areas where your agency can improve its efficiency or change its focus. All agency nominees who submit their data for review will receive a detailed performance analysis comparing their specific results to industry peers. This analysis, valued at $495, is provided free of charge to agency nominees who submit their data, even if they do not make the top cut.
If your agency achieves the Best Practices status, you will receive national recognition, an invitation to the exclusive Best Practices Symposium, education opportunities and a media kit to promote their Best Practices status.
Learn more about the process on the Big “I" Best Practices webpage, where you can also obtain the recently released 2024 Best Practices Study update.
