To educate agents about what’s on the horizon in personal lines, Big “I” Virtual University (VU) director Bill Wilson will examine a number of critical policy form changes agents must know and communicate to consumers in an upcoming webinar, Beyond the Basics: Emerging Personal Lines Issues.
To take place Wednesday, Aug. 26, this three-hour webinar is approved for CE credit in AR, MD, MI, MT, NJ, NC, ND, NY, OH, OK, WA, WV, WY, UT and VA with approval pending in LA.
The personal lines section of the VU research library is a one-stop education resource. While resources focus on mainstream coverage and feature Q&As on homeowner and personal auto claims, the library also delves into industry standard issues such as in-home businesses, recreational vehicles, diminished value claims and valuing homes. Whitepapers address important topics like potentially catastrophic HO exclusions, and the section also covers emerging personal lines issues like car and ride sharing, fracking and ISO homeowner “where you reside” changes. Content is divided by auto, flood, homeowners and miscellaneous areas with detailed sub-content so you can easily navigate this goldmine of information.
Register today for the webinar or email VU staff with questions. The VU is a member-only benefit that requires login and password. If you have trouble logging in, password recovery is available online.
