Who at your agency is responsible for recruiting and guiding employees through each stage of their careers and making sure the agency employs the most qualified staff members?
Talent management is a key component of agency success, and Best Practices agency owners have indicated they never stop looking for the right talent for their agencies.
The Big “I” has a new strategic mission to support these efforts: The Talent Recruitment and Development page, now located within the Big “I” Virtual University (VU), which provides resources for member agents to develop an approach to meaningful recruitment, training and retention of new talent.
Still in its beginning stages, the new resource area features hiring, development and resources pages and also provides a link to the Big “I” Insurance Career Center, guides for creating internship programs, hiring articles and over 25 sample job descriptions, plus more.
Big “I” state associations are currently sharing their own recruitment and talent resources to round out the content. Also, a new HR expert is now onboard with the VU faculty to contribute to Ask an Expert questions and columns, and the VU plans to identify what assistance our carrier partners can offer for easy reference.
Feel free to suggest related content that would benefit your agency.
