Carrier contributed to charity on behalf of insurance agents.
Today, Trusted Choice® thanked Preferred Mutual Insurance Company, headquartered in New Berlin, N.Y., for a generous contribution to Make-A-Wish instead of its traditional holiday gift to independent insurance agents. The $3,500 donation to Make-A-Wish is on behalf of the agents, including many Trusted Choice independent agents and brokers, who represent Preferred Mutual.
“Trusted Choice is excited to recognize Preferred Mutual for their generous contribution to Make-A-Wish on behalf of the independent insurance agents who represent them,” says Dave Evans, Trusted Choice executive director. “The independent insurance agency system has a strong track record of active participation and charitable giving in communities across the country and this annual project is an important opportunity for all of us to join forces for a very worthy, national campaign.”
The $3,500 Preferred Mutual contribution will be added to more than $675,000 raised by Trusted Choice for Make-A-Wish this year.
“The impact of a wish-come-true is far-reaching. It affects wish kids, families, and entire communities,” said Make-A-Wish Central New York CEO Diane Kuppermann. “We are privileged to have Trusted Choice as a sponsor of wishes and appreciate their efforts to include Preferred Mutual in supporting Make-A-Wish.”
Trusted Choice is proud to have sponsored wishes for more than 21 children with life-threatening medical conditions since its first social media campaign in 2011. In addition, Trusted Choice will have sponsored 70 grants through a $525,000 local sponsorship initiative before year’s end. Collectively, Trusted Choice has raised more than $945,000 for Make-A-Wish since 2011.
