A number of Big "I" agents from Florida attended a fundraising event for Rep. Carlos Curbelo (R-Florida) at the home of Alex Soto, former Big "I" chairman. Guests included several past leaders from the Big "I" and the Florida Association of Independent Agents (FAIA).
A rising star in the Republican Party, Rep. Curbelo serves on the U.S. House of Representatives Ways and Means Committee, which has jurisdiction over taxes and health care. He was elected to serve Florida's 26th Congressional District in 2014 and is currently in his second term.
The Big "I" is proud to support Rep. Curbelo, and is grateful for his tireless efforts to protect small business rights in Florida and across the country.
InsurPac, the Big "I" political action committee, uses 100% of agent contributions to support the campaigns of members of the U.S. Senate and House, as well as other candidates for federal office. When disbursing contributions, InsurPac supports elected officials and candidates for federal office who are advocates and supporters of the independent agency system, regardless of party affiliation.
