| This week, Independent Agent magazine launched a redesigned homepage. Head to iamagazine.com and take a look! Since 1903, the association has communicated with its members via the official magazine, which at the time was known as the American Agency Bulletin. In 1921, the magazine sold advertisements for the first time. They were printed in a special edition of the publication to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Big “I." Back then, the Bulletin's circulation was in the hundreds—today, it's 38,000 excluding traffic to the website, iamagazine.com. In September, Independent Agent will be celebrating the association's 125th anniversary in style, with a special edition of the magazine that will feature the history of the Big “I" and some special messages from our company partners. If you are interested in nominating yourself or one of your colleagues to be featured in Independent Agent, or have a story idea you'd like to share with your fellow members, reach out to Will Jones, editor-in-chief, with any questions. Thank you for reading Independent Agent.
