Eagle Agency provides Big "I" members with direct access to preferred personal lines and/or commercial lines in 49 states and the District of Columbia (not available in HI) with minimal volume commitment. The program strives to fit the member's personal lines needs by incubating until the member qualifies for a direct appointment. Eagle Agency company partners include:

Appointments are subject to review and approval by Eagle Agency and the carrier. Carriers might not be available in every state or may have territorial limitations. 

Update: As of October 2022, our carrier partners are not accepting new Eagle agents at this time. A reimagined Eagle Agency is under development with new company partners, enhanced commission, profit sharing and more.

Coverage is available for vehicles, property, umbrella and valuables to members in all states except AK, DC, DE, HI, MI, ND, OK and SC. Territorial and geographic underwriting restrictions may apply.

From Safeco's origin almost 100 years ago in Seattle, to their national reach and acquisition by Liberty Mutual Insurance, Safeco has always kept with the tradition of putting their customers first. Products available include: auto, motorcycle, watercraft, classic cars, recreational vehicles, golf carts, snowmobiles, home, condo, renters, landlords, and umbrellas. Safeco's appetite is for the preferred middle market accounts. Monoline home is available.

A Safeco sub-producer appointment is possible in all states except: DE, HI, ME, NJ and RI. Territorial and geographic underwriting restrictions may apply.

Travelers has been a partner of Eagle Agency from the beginning. Coverage is available for vehicles, property, umbrella, valuables and watercraft. Travelers' appetite is for the preferred middle market automobile and homeowner accounts. Automobile is required as the lead line, and in most states, property is also required.

*Travelers requires 25 organic new business policies in a 12-month period via Auto & Home - Standard Markets (formerly Eagle Express) prior to considering any member for an Eagle Agency appointment. Please submit risks via Auto & Home - Standard Markets in the Personal Lines menu.

Once the requirement has been met you may submit a request to become a Travelers Eagle Agency through this process in all states except: AK, HI, LA, MA, MI, OK, ND, WV and WY. Territorial and geographic underwriting restrictions may apply.
