Summer College Program
Red Bird Risk Management Challenge
Students who have participated in Invest and are rising juniors entering their senior year in high school.
Invest offers scholarships to current Invest students who have been accepted into the Redbird Risk Management Challenge at the Katie School of Insurance at Illinois State University to cover transportation costs (up to $400) to attend the event. Participating students also receive a scholarship from Katie School that covers the costs associated with participating including room and board for the duration of the event.
A one-week summer program at Illinois State University that brings together 20 selected rising high school seniors to form teams to assume the roles of senior level management, developing and implementing strategies that navigate a mine field of potential disasters.

Morgan State Summer Academy, Math & Science
Students who have participated in Invest and are rising sophomores, juniors or seniors that are interested in a math or science based insurance career. Students must be able to reside on Morgan University’s campus for the entire duration of the program.
Invest offers scholarships to current Invest students who have been accepted into the Summer Academy of Mathematics and Science at Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD to cover transportation costs (up to $400) to attend the event. Participating students also receive an MSU scholarship covering participation costs including on campus housing and meals for the duration of the event.
A six week summer program on the campus of Morgan State University designed to foster excitement among high school students in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics disciplines. Students participate in laboratory experiments, case studies, faculty seminars, hands-on projects and professional development seminars. There’s also an opportunity to learn about Morgan’s Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science program and be eligible to apply for tuition scholarships.
