Recently, the ACT Strategic Future Issues work group released its “ 2018 Key Trends Report", which dives into how the emerging trends are changing coverage, operations and systems.
The document shows how the trends are working together and often overlapping. The report also details 'next steps' for all of the stakeholders – not only for insurance companies to assist with their strategic roadmap planning for 2019 and beyond, but also for agents, vendors, user groups and associations.
ACT's 2018 Key Trends Report also provides real resources to dig more deeply into the world of InsureTechs. Yes, there are those InsureTechs that intend market share away from the IA distribution, but there are just as many who see the ease of business gains by providing specialized solutions in distribution channel workflows.
