Since 1993, IIABA in partnership with Reagan Consulting, has conducted the Best Practices research to examine the top performing agencies across the country and then compile the operating statistics of those leading agents and brokers. The annual study that is produced from this research provides the industry with key benchmarks and operational information on growth, profitability, productivity, and financial stability that can make a difference in virtually every agency.
To keep the data current and relevant, the research process begins anew every three years, starting with a request for agency recommendations to invite to participate and submit operations information in their opportunity to become a Best Practices Agency. That time is now and will remain open until the end of January 2022.
IIABA state association and company partners can visit the
nomination resource page to find FAQ's, timeline, sample materials, review the desired characteristics of a Best Practices Agency and access the playback link for the recent "IIABA's Best Practices Nomination Process: What You Need To Know" webinar. The resource page also provides the 2022 nomination forms that can be used to submit names and requested data fields across the six different revenue categories.

Nominating your agencies can be done anonymously, however this is a great opportunity to highlight your partnership and outreach to share you think they are a terrific agency with Best Practices characteristics and support their business success.
