Wyoming Continuing Education Requirements

The Wyoming Department of Insurance requires all insurance producers and agents to complete their continuing education requirements before their expiration dates to keep their licenses in good standing.

At least 24 credits of insurance CE, including 3 credits of ethics, are required every 2-year license term. Any carried-over credits must be earned 120 days prior to the licensing continuation date. Excess Ethics hours can only be carried over as general credits, which means agents must earn new CE credits every two-year licensing term. Wyoming allows 10 days, including the exam completion date, for reporting CE credits.

It is recommended to complete the education 90 days prior to the expiration date to ensure timely reporting by the provider.
