The Big “I" National Young Agents Committee (YAC) is excited to launch a series of conversations to support the development of Young Agents nationwide. Through this series, emerging leaders are able to network with their peers, share ideas, discuss challenges, and identify ways to support the growing industry.

You must register for each call individually. Registering for one call will not automatically add you to future calls.

Let’s Talk Meetings

Wednesday, August 9 at 2:00pm EST
It’s meeting season in the insurance industry. What new activities can your committee bring to the agenda? What speakers or types of content are getting the most engagement? Bring your questions and also hear strategies from our 2022 YAC Meeting Award winner as well as our Breakthrough YAC Award winner. Connection is key, so get your notes ready! You’ll also have a chance to ask any final questions leading up to YALI.

December 7, 2022: Outstanding Innovators

During this call, participants heard from the 2022 Outstanding YAC of the Year and 2022 Innovators of the Year, successes and challenges they faced throughout the year, and how they feel they made a difference for their emerging leaders. Attendees were encouraged to bring questions for the winners and thoughts on how they are innovating in their states.

January 11, 2023: Political Involvement

During this call, Young Agents learned how to get involved legislatively and how to support Insurpac. Participants heard from the award-winning political involvement committee and the Insurpac 2022 Young Agent of the Year. Discussion focused on increasing InsurPac donations, engaging emerging leaders in state-based legislative opportunities, and the upcoming Big "I" Legislative Conference.

March 8, 2023: Invest in the Future

During this call, Emerging Leaders learned about the Invest Program and opportunities they have to support high school students in their states. Young Agents also heard from the 2022 Outstanding Invest Supporter Award Winners from New York and Massachusetts.

May 24: Giving Back & Awards Prep

During this call, Young Agents heard from the three winners of the Outstanding Community Service Award. Call attendees were able to share their past volunteer endeavors and future plans for the upcoming GIVE week from June 1-10.

During each call, a registrant will be randomly selected by the National YAC to receive a prize. Prizes for each of the State Outreach calls will be:
