About Us
The Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of Arizona (IIABAZ) was founded in 1932 and incorporated in 1936. For more than 90 years, the organization has supported independent insurance agents and brokers by providing products and services unparalleled in the industry.
Joining IIABAZ gives you access to the resources of local, regional, state, and national organizations fully devoted to the success of insurance professionals. The national organization, the Big “I,” was founded in 1896 and is the oldest and largest national association of independent insurance agents. IIABAZ members are part of a network of more than 300,000 agents and agency employees across the country.
From the one-person shop in rural Arizona to national brokerage firms in metropolitan areas, our mission remains the same: service.
