Young Insurance Professionals
The Young Insurance Professionals (YIPs) Committee is a great way for agents who are young at heart or have fewer than 10 years of insurance experience to get connected and grow in the industry. Included with your IIABAZ membership at no extra cost, and led by a passionate group of volunteer young agents, YIPs offer plenty of opportunities to meet peers, build relationships, and learn through fun networking socials and educational events held throughout the year.

Solicitation for employment is not allowed. Attendees at any Young Insurance Professional Committee function agrees not to solicit any participant of the event(s) for employment or “employment like” offers which would require the attendee to leave their current employment.
Mission Statement
To nurture the careers of individual members of the IIABAZ who are either young or new to the industry. We hope to develop a peer group of young insurance professionals.
Our objectives are:
- Provide opportunities to foster professional and interpersonal relationships.
- Help develop technical knowledge and expertise.
- Increase Membership involvement in the political process and advocate for important industry issues.
- To better the industry’s image through public relations programs.
- Help improve communication skills.
- Refine marketing and sales abilities.
- Promotion and representation of common business interests.
- Develop an interest in becoming involved with the IIABAZ in a leadership role.
- To provide a resource to state and national associations in carrying out their programs.
