Nicole Coppock, an Invest Grad & Insurance Professional

Elite Client Group/Frank H. Furman Inc.

I’m an Invest graduate. Hard to believe I’ve been employed as an insurance professional since 2006.

I started as an intern at Frank Furman Insurance Agency in high school, working from noon to 5 pm. After graduation, I obtained a 4-40 license so I could eventually sell insurance. I then completed the Associate in Insurance Account Management (AIAM) in 2010, a designation that goes along with my title as an insurance agent. I also passed the the state exam for the 2-20 Agents License.

It’s an honor to serve as the “chair” for the Florida Association of Insurance Agents (FAIA)’s Invest Program. I enjoy teaching at the local high schools in Broward County, and through the local insurance board, I review and grade scholarship applications.

The Invest Program truly works and engages students in all aspects of insurance, including the introduction to industry careers.

Invest, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is dedicated to improving insurance literacy in students and attracting new talent to the industry.
