The Association of Wyoming Insurance Agents (AWIA) was formed in 1995 by consolidating two other fine organizations – the Independent Insurance Agents of Wyoming (IIAW) and the Professional Insurance Agents of Wyoming (PIA-WY). Both organizations had a history spanning many decades of service to the insurance industry in Wyoming. The roots of the organization go back to 1933.
