Explore the Latest “Letter to the Industry”: People and Culture

In this newest addition to our “Letters to the Industry” series, ACT shares insights from a collaborative session held at a past Ivans Connect event, where agents, carriers, and technology providers came together to discuss the human side of transformation.

Building on our previous letters, this edition turns the spotlight to a topic underlying conversations about innovation and progress:  People and Culture.

While earlier letters focused on  Data,  Connectivity, and Artificial Intelligence, this letter explores how culture, leadership, and employee experience are essential to making progress in all of those areas.

The challenges raised were both timely and universal:

  • Defining and sustaining culture in hybrid and distributed work environments
  • Managing employee burnout in the face of constant change
  • Ensuring technology decisions include input from those doing the work
  • Addressing fears around automation and job security
  • Elevating change management as a core competency

Despite these challenges, there was strong alignment across all stakeholder groups: culture is not a soft topic, it’s a strategic imperative. It influences everything from employee engagement to customer experience and the success of technology adoption.

That’s why ACT has made People and Culture a foundational element across all of our current work groups. Whether we’re exploring data standards, discussing ways to improve connectivity, or how to navigate the ethical use of AI, the human element is always part of the conversation. Our 2025 work group model reflects this integrated approach, ensuring that culture is not siloed but embedded in every strategic initiative.
