Central Insurance Joins Agents Council for Technology

Property-casualty carrier is new ACT partner.

ALEXANDRIA, VA, November 8, 2021— Central Insurance, comprised of Central Mutual Insurance Company and All America Insurance Company, is the newest company partner of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America's Agents Council for Technology (ACT).

“ACT is happy to welcome Central Insurance as a carrier partner," says Ron Berg, ACT executive director. “With consumers' increasing expectations around digitalized access and streamlined insurance products, it's crucial that carriers work with the independent agency channel to facilitate innovation and ease for both agents and the communities they serve. We're looking forward to seeing Central Insurance's perspectives added to our strategies."

Based in Van Wert, Ohio, Central Insurance is a property-casualty carrier rated A by A.M. Best. Central Insurance, founded as Central Mutual Insurance Company in 1876, writes coverage for hundreds of thousands of individuals and businesses in 24 states through independent agencies. It offers myCentral®, a client self-service hub, in both website and mobile application format.

“As the independent agency channel continues to prove itself as invaluable as ever before, Central Insurance is proud to partner with ACT to continue to provide agents with tools to serve their clients," says Cindy Hurless, COO of Central Insurance. “We're excited to tackle the thoughtful implementation of technology to facilitate our valuable relationships with independent agents and provide peace of mind to our policyholders."
