Kickstart a Local Invest Program

Do you want to make a greater impact on the lives of young people in your community? Are you passionate about education, career readiness and the future of the insurance industry? If you do, then you should volunteer with Invest.

Join an Invest Kickstart Initiative to learn how you can help educate students about insurance and the wide variety of career opportunities available in the industry. The Invest Kickstart Initiative organizes local insurance professionals who want to support a current Invest program or start a new program.

When you sign up, you’ll be invited to join each of our 30-minute virtual meetings, which are organized into four key phases:

  • Phase 1: Discovery. Learn more about the Invest program, explore opportunities in your community, and share your ideas and goals.
  • Phase 2: Connect. Get introduced to local educators as we develop an Invest volunteer network in your area.
  • Phase 3: Commit. Choose your preferred level of involvement and help us begin planning for classroom engagement or local events.
  • Phase 4: Implement. Whether you’re interested in speaking at local events, helping deliver an Invest insurance lesson plan or mentoring students, we’ll guide you through the steps to make it happen.

Go to the Invest website and scroll to see the upcoming Invest Kickstart Initiative meetings available in regions across the U.S. Don’t see your area listed yet? Sign up for the National Kickstart meeting. And make sure to share this opportunity with your independent insurance agent friends!

Please contact Johanna Holling, Invest volunteer relations program manager, or Whitnee Dillard, Invest executive director, with any questions.
