Take the Agency Compensation 360 Survey

Catalyit and 38 Big “I” state associations are proud to introduce Agency Compensation 360, a multi-state survey designed to give independent insurance agencies a clear view of how they can best approach compensation, benefits and outsourcing.
In today’s talent-driven market, attracting and retaining top performers starts with knowing where you stand. This new study gives participants exclusive access to the data they need to compete smarter, hire faster and build stronger teams.
“This is your chance to shape the first compensation study built specifically for independent agencies,” says Marit Peters, managing partner and CEO of Catalyit. “The more who participate, the more valuable it becomes for all of us.”
The survey covers salary and commission ranges, benefits, paid time off, remote work trends and projections for 2026.
Only participating agencies will receive access to an interactive analytics dashboard with:
- Powerful filters by state, region, agency size and role.
- Secure, confidential benchmarking through a user-friendly online platform.
- Actionable insights that fill national data gaps with local, agency-specific metrics.
The survey takes 30 minutes or less to complete, depending on agency size, and participants can save progress and return later. Agencies will need to provide benefit details, policies and compensation data for all staff.
All information gathered will be stripped of agency name, respondent name and other identifiable information. The analytics portal will include summarized statistics and facts without any possibility of identifying the agency or employee that responded.
The survey will temporarily close after Nov. 2. Agencies that participate before the deadline will receive priority access to the analytics dashboard. Responses submitted after the deadline will still receive portal access at a later date.
Agencies can complete the Agency Compensation 360 survey today to gain exclusive access to compensation and benefits insights built for independent agencies.
