Craig Tappel

Craig Tappel, CPA, CPCU grew up in the insurance business and joined his father in the family company after college as independent risk management consultants. From early on, Craig saw the challenges faced by insurance buyers and the advantage gained by putting insurance expertise on the customer's side. Craig has also held leadership roles at regional and national brokers and served as General Manager for an underwriting organization.

Education and professional development have been and continue to be a cornerstone of Craig's success. He also enjoys recruiting, training, and developing other insurance professionals to pass on what he has learned. 

Craig currently leads HUB International's North American Construction Practice as Chief Sales Officer. He is also a Specialty Expert in HUB's US Healthcare Practice.
