GloveBox Joins Agents Council for Technology

ALEXANDRIA, VA, January 12, 2021—GloveBox is the newest company partner of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America's Agents Council for Technology (ACT). Through the GloveBox platform, independent agents can provide clients a seamless, self-service mobile and web platform connecting them to their agency and carriers.

“ACT is excited to welcome GloveBox as a supporting partner," says Ron Berg, ACT executive director. “Insurance consumers continue to expect instantaneous, streamlined service in an environment where digital communication is a must. We're looking forward to GloveBox's approach and perspective in our projects and discussions."

GloveBox (gloveboxapp.com) provides a digital platform to connect independent agencies of all sizes to their clients and carriers. Made by agents for agents, GloveBox mobile and web technology integrates directly with insurance carriers' platforms, enabling agencies to streamline branded communication and provide a solution for clients to easily access real-time information.

“GloveBox is proud to join the Big 'I' and ACT in guiding the independent agency system with solutions that go above and beyond expectations for customer service," says Andy Mathisen, co-founder and CMO of GloveBox. “More than ever, we believe it's crucial that independent agents provide cutting-edge technology solutions to their clients. We remain dedicated to increasing independent agent retention, referrals and relevance, and we look forward to continuing to serve the independent agent system through this community."

Founded in 1896, the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (the Big “I") is the nation's oldest and largest national association of independent insurance agents and brokers, representing more than 25,000 agency locations united under the Trusted Choice® brand. Trusted Choice independent agents offer consumers all types of insurance—property, casualty, life, health, employee benefit plans and retirement products—from a variety of insurance companies.

The Agents Council for Technology (ACT) was established in January 1999 by the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (the Big “I") to provide a candid, action-oriented forum to address the critical workflow and technology issues facing the independent agency system. ACT helps participants understand the perspectives of the other stakeholders in the process and provides excellent networking opportunities with the participants who are shaping the future for the industry on these issues.
