Jon A Jensen Legacy Award
This prestigious award is not given on an annual basis. Recipients are agent members who consistently go above and beyond, shattering expectations, inspiring others, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.
It’s namesake and inaugural recipient, Jon A Jensen, AAI, of Correll Insurance Group in Spartanburg, SC, is one whose dedication, leadership, and vision have profoundly shaped our state association and the entire industry. His contributions have led our state association to the highest levels and also guided our national association through some of the most challenging times in recent memory.

Hayne P Glover Jr Agent of the Year
Given to an agent who, in the opinion of the judges, has rendered outstanding service to his or her community outside the field of insurance and has also contributed to the betterment of our industry.

Young Agent of the Year
Given to a young agent (age 40 or younger) who, in the opinion of the judges, has rendered outstanding service to his or her community outside the field of insurance and has also contributed to the betterment of our industry.

Industry Person of the Year
Given to a non-agency individual in the insurance industry, who in the opinion of the judges has contributed greatly to the insurance industry in South Carolina. Anyone who is not an insurance agent and should be recognized for their promotion, support and/or advancement of the insurance industry and the independent agency system is eligible for this award.

SC Outstanding CSR of the Year
This award is the highest honor for insurance customer service representatives who have distinguished themselves through contributions to their industry and profession. SC winner receives a cash award along with special recognition and their essay is submitted for competition at the national level.
Open to everyone regardless of affiliation or professional designation, candidates must:
- Be an insurance customer service representative, or have primary responsibility for customer service duties.
- Write an essay of no more than two pages double-spaced (approximately 1,000 words) on a topic set by the Risk & Insurance Education Alliance.
- Submit letter(s) of recommendation from professional reference(s).

Industry Impact Award
This award is given at the discretion of the Chair of the Board, but not necessarily on an annual basis. It honors individuals whose exceptional contributions have made a lasting and transformative difference in the insurance industry and the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of South Carolina.
RECIPIENTS OF THIS AWARD ARE CHOSEN BY THAT YEAR’S CHAIR OF THE BOARD.
