Momentum AMP Purchases TrustedChoice.com

Momentum AMP, a technology company serving the independent agency channel, has purchased TrustedChoice.com (CAP, LLC) in a deal finalized last week. With this new partnership, the Big “I” will no longer be affiliated with TrustedChoice.com, but due to a prior agreement, TrustedChoice.com will retain its name over a one-year transition period. The Big “I” was one of the original founders of TrustedChoice.com in 2013.  

Importantly, the new ownership arrangement does not include the broader Trusted Choice® brand of the Big “I,” but only the web-based, lead-generation service, TrustedChoice.com. The national association will continue to produce its extremely popular digital marketing resources under the Trusted Choice brand. These include the agent toolkits on the hard market and artificial intelligence (AI), the social media guide and automation tools, Google Business Profile Optimization Guide, Digital Performance Hub, the “Insurance Explained” video series, and more. None of these assets will be impacted by the sale of TrustedChoice.com and will remain available to member agencies in the Trusted Choice area of the national Big “I” website. 

The Big “I” and Trusted Choice will also retain TechCompare, an online resource that enables independent agencies to explore technologies to improve their customer experience, operations, and marketing.  

Over the next year, the Big “I” will build its own agent locator for consumers, but that function remains on TrustedChoice.com in the interim.  

Big “I” members who are TrustedChoice.com Advantage subscribers have been notified of the sale and will be able to continue their subscriptions uninterrupted under the new ownership arrangement—a key component in the finalization of the sale.
