Cara Joins ACT

Cara is the newest company to join the Big “I” Agents Council for Technology (ACT). Cara is a domain specific AI system purpose-built for the insurance industry—a modular solution that empowers leading insurance agencies and brokerages to accelerate sales and automate services through a 24/7 digital workforce.

“The independent agency channel’s core strengths of relationship building and personalized service only grow more relevant in a complex insurance environment, and thoughtful implementation of AI tools will allow agency staff to move beyond rote, time-consuming tasks to focus on human connection,” says Kasey Connors, ACT executive director. “We’re excited to welcome Cara to ACT as we continue to spearhead resources and solutions for agencies to master the complexities of AI.”

Cara is an integrated AI system designed to automate servicing, accelerate sales and scale operations. Cara has multiple modules and capabilities, ranging from analyzing policies and automating quoting to streamlining service tasks and issuing certificates of insurance (COIs). Capable of handling 30-plus tasks, Cara can integrate with an agency’s email and phone systems, agency management system (AMS) and customer relationship manager (CRM).

“As former insurance agents, we built Cara specifically to empower the insurance industry, including independent insurance agencies and brokerages, to reclaim time from manual, repetitive processes and refocus on premium production and client relationships,” says Vic Yeh, co-founder and CEO at Cara. “We’re proud to partner with ACT and join a community of innovative leaders helping independent agents leverage industry-leading AI capabilities.”
