Here we are in a new year; and though the calendar has changed, not everything else that we wish has.

But onto even more opportunities!  We collectively came through 2020 being more innovative than ever and greatly increased our momentum.

Update: ACT Meeting - Spring 2021
We know everyone has personal safety top of mind during the pandemic, even though vaccines are beginning to roll out.

ACT was scheduled to hold our spring in-person ACT Meeting with NetVU Accelerate in Denver, May 2021.  NetVU has wisely decided to move their in-person Accelerate Conference out one year to 2022, still in Denver.  ACT has secured a spot with NetVU to co-locate our ACT Meeting on the front end of this 2022 Accelerate conference.

A Four-Part Framework for Claim Considerations
With the ongoing shifts to digital interaction and increasing workflow-driven processing of claims, there’s an emerging trend towards increasing automation throughout the claims lifecycle.  Automation is valuable – but how much automation is required, and in what situations? Understanding the type of claim, its severity, personal preferences, and other factors all play a role in any automation strategy.   Carriers need to adapt their strategies to include configurations that consider a variety of business-to-human situations. Situations requiring empathy and understanding when necessary, and personalization and automation when appropriate. Any automation strategy must also include people adjusting, investigating, and processing any given claim.
