The Big “I" Diversity Council is pleased to kick off part one of the Right Start Training Series on Thursday, Oct. 8. This four-part webinar series teaches developing agency owners how to better position their agency for success resulting in both attracting and retaining appointments with top carriers.
Your agency's operating style can either catapult you to new heights or plunge you into complacency. How your agency operates is largely impacted by how you make key decisions, along with how you manage staff and your agency's overall workflows.
Positioning an agency to soar requires a thoughtful approach in answering one pivotal question: “What makes my agency different?" While owners certainly must consider sales and marketing practices, also think about what your agency does to build loyalty with both clients and carriers.
This special webinar presentation by Chris Boggs, Big “I" executive director of education and risk management, is divided into three sections. We will first take a deep dive into overall agency operating style. Next, we will explore SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis and how to use the methodology to benefit any agency. Lastly, we will look at how to fine-tune or create an agency's value proposition.
The second part of the Right Start Training Series, Employees: Your Key to Productivity, will launch Thursday, Nov. 5.
Are you a developing agency owner that is under the age of 42 or identifies as a person of color, LGBTQ or a woman? If so, we have an opportunity for you! Inspired by the Right Start Training Series to provide an opportunity for underrepresented agency owners to take that training further, the Big “I" Diversity Council is pleased to launch our national agency owner mentorship program to link participants with both an agency and carrier mentor throughout the course of six months.
