| |  | | September… Just like that summer is in the books, we've just celebrated Labor Day, and our industry is in full conference mode. In fact, we are wrapping up details for our own ACT meeting that we are calling “Back to Basics" hosted by Encova Insurance. We realize there are many conferences competing for your time and travel dollars and we'd be honored if you'd consider joining us in Columbus, Ohio, on October 5 at Encova's home office. Whether you're an agent, carrier, technology provider, or just want to be a part of our industry's technology conversation, we welcome you to our complimentary meeting. Following an included lunch, several of our partner companies and member agencies will discuss AI, the power of data, and API/Connectivity…and we'll wrap the day with a networking reception. Even if time doesn't allow you to join us in Columbus, we encourage you to embrace these industry events as a great way to network and hear what others are talking about and doing to help make their businesses successful.
In the meantime, we hope you'll enjoy a few articles and thoughts from several of our ACT partners. These companies are deeply passionate about you and your success, and we are proud to collaborate with them on your behalf. In fact, we'd love to do more of this! We'd like to invite all our ACT Supporting Partners and all Big “I" member independent agents to suggest an article idea or even better, contribute your content to ACT News. Regardless of your role in the industry, if you have content of value for independent agents, please let us know and we can set up time to talk through some ideas. September… That also means October is coming up next. While many may be looking forward to celebrating Halloween, it is also time to pay close attention to something far scarier and more serious: cybersecurity. October is Cybersecurity Month, and we are kicking off a little early with an article from ID Federation in this issue.
