ACT "Back to Basics" Meeting

Hosted by ACT Supporting Member Encova Insurance!

ACT is excited to announce our 2023 meeting and we hope you'll be able to join us! With many thanks to ACT partner, Encova Insurance, we'll get “Back to Basics" the afternoon of October 5, 2023, at Encova's home office in downtown Columbus, Ohio!

The meeting coincides with the conclusion of the Ohio Insurance Agents IACON event that is also in Columbus that week, October 4th, and 5th. We've coordinated our schedules to enable attendance at both events so you can get the most out of your travels to the Buckeye state as all Big “I" member agencies, partner carriers, and partner technology providers are welcome to attend the ACT meeting.

During our ACT “Back to Basics" meeting, we'll leverage insights and feedback gathered from ACT Workgroups and prior meetings to drive approach and content. We heard you want more networking, more opportunities to ask questions, and have conversations that can help align all stakeholders for the benefit of the independent agency channel.

We are still working on our content however, you can expect to hear discussions on the following with "people, process and risk" woven into all.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
- How to strike a balance between the philosophical and ethical sides of using AI as well as discuss tactical ways agents are using this technology right now.

CONNECTIVITY
- The pace of change as well as what incumbrances and opportunities exist in our industry's connectivity journey, including the use of APIs.

DATA
-The ambiguous topic of data and our industry's attempts to understand and harness its power.
