Workshop: Fans Not Followers
and Storytelling as a Superpower

There's no shortage of advice about social media available online. The problem? Much of it is confusing, conflicting, or flat-out wrong. The result? Many busy executives either ignore their online presence or spend way too much time following arbitrary “rules" without seeing a positive ROI. What's more? Study after study proves that narrative stories are overwhelmingly more effective—and more trusted—than nonnarrative statistics or facts. Storytelling isn't just an art and when used correctly your start sets you apart from competitors. Brittany will break down what leaders need to know to confidently craft a winning social-media strategy and teach a simple process for crafting effective, memorable stories that improve customer recall and understanding.

Creating Superfans

How would your business change if the number of qualified referrals you received doubled? Tripled? What would it mean if - instead of just creating customers - you were creating engaged, loyal superfans?

Brittany will share proven, actionable strategies for creating and automating experiences that convert customers to devoted superfans: repeat clients who will advocate for your product or service without you even having to ask.

Moderator of the Perpetuation Session: Harrison Brooks

A partner at Reagan Consulting, Harrison Brooks joined the firm in 2015 where he primarily works with clients on mergers & acquisitions, agency valuation, and strategic consulting projects. Although a native North Carolinian, Harrison now calls Atlanta home after stints in both investment banking and private equity in Charlotte. Before becoming a member of the Reagan team, Harrison graduated from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Business Administration degree from the Kenan-Flagler Business School and began his career in investment banking with Edgeview Partners (now Piper Jaffray). During his tenure with mergers & acquisitions, he completed numerous buy and sell side transactions and then moved to the private equity firm, Carousel Capital where he spent two years acquiring business and consumer services companies. While at Carousel, he led valuation exercises and executed due diligence processes, working closely with management teams on strategic planning and value creation initiatives. Additionally, Harrison is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and maintains the Series 63, 79, and 82 FINRA Registrations through Reagan Securities, Inc., the affiliated FINRA-registered Broker/Dealer of Reagan Consulting, Inc. When he’s not working on client projects, you can find him in Reagan’s ping-pong room, eagerly looking for new challengers or enjoying time with his wife, Caroline, and their one-year old son, Philip.
