During this morning's Big "I" Legislative Conference General Session Breakfast, Bob Rusbuldt, Big "I" president & CEO, presented Best Practices Awards of Excellence to the following honorees:
Applied Systems, for supporting the time investment necessary to review data and encourage agents to participate in order to maximize their growth potential. The company also featured Best Practices information in its webinars and blogs—including its 2016 Best Practices blog, which received the highest engagement of Applied's entire annual series—and hosted a Best Practices education symposium for its executives at its annual Applied Net Conference.
Central Insurance Company, for its commitment to helping independent agents grow their personal lines business and understand that Best Practices philosophies can help. The company promoted education and training to hone the competitive advantage and educated marketing managers on how to incorporate Best Practices information when sitting on panels.
EMC Insurance Companies, for its commitment to supporting independent agents and helping them perpetuate internally. In addition to supporting Best Practices at the state and local levels, the company worked with field representatives to help them understand the key agency challenges the latest study exposed, and how to work through them.
Travelers, for utilizing the joint planning tool and encouraging agencies to use their agency management systems to integrate with Best Practices tools. The company also purchased Best Practices materials for select agencies and helped promote the resource externally. This marks the 16th years that Travelers has received this award.
