The Big “I" is celebrating 20 years of partnership between its flood program, Big “I" Flood, and Selective Insurance. For the past two decades, Big "I" Flood has relied on Selective to serve independent agents and their customers by providing access to knowledgeable experts to navigate the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), as well as superior claims service following a flood. Big "I" Flood has also worked with Selective to advocate on Capitol Hill concerning NFIP-related issues impacting consumers and independent agents.
To mark the 20-year anniversary, Selective has developed a new portfolio of services and products for agents writing flood insurance through Big "I" Flood, as announced in September. Based on levels of written premium volume, the two packages consist of competitive commissions; instant access to Selective Flood's underwriters and marketing resource center; and Flood Perks, a collection of discounts on goods and services to help clients reduce the risk of loss or provide assistance in the event of a claim.
